I've coached swimming at Dallas Ashford Youth Club since 2010. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Richards Bay.
