I taught physics at San Jose Technical College in San Jose from 1995 to 2025. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Angel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
