Helping people break into farming
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Foundation
- Since 2005
- English, Spanish
For 21 years I've mentored people in farming and engineering. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Angel
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Angel: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
