I've worked in blacksmithing since 1987. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 700 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Andrés
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
