Andrés S. Ramos
Retired physical education teacher from Holy Cross Grammar School
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Holy Cross Grammar School
- 1979 to 2013
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Andrés
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Andrés: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physical education in 2011 at Holy Cross Grammar School. I still remember that terrible school play.

You taught me physical education in 1979 at Holy Cross Grammar School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays. Truly.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2009. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Cologne.
