Andrea Spence

Teacher at Half-Way Tree Middle School, loves home economics

  • 🇯🇲 Half-Way Tree, Saint Andrew, Jamaica
  • Half-Way Tree Middle School
  • 2013 to 2022
  • English, Spanish
Half-Way Tree Middle School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 2013 to 2022, mostly teenagers. Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

More about Andrea

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
