For 23 years I have been the drama teacher at Sakura Middle School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
