Andrea J. García

I taught English literature at Lincoln Public School in Yonkers from 2000 to 2025. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I learned every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Andrea
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Andrea: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me English literature in 2022 at Lincoln Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on Truly.
