I've been a nurse for 38 years, most of them in emergency care at Buenos Aires University Hospital in Buenos Aires. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
