I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about André
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to André: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
