I teach drama at Rio de Janeiro Middle School in Rio de Janeiro since 2010. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about André
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to André: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
