André Luís Almeida
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- Uberlândia Workshop
- 1990 to 2016
- Portuguese
I've worked in plumbing from 1990 to 2016. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,140 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to André: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
