André Gabriel Lacerda
Cross country coach, São Paulo Good Shepherd Swimming Club
- 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
- Since 1980
- English, Portuguese
I've coached cross country at São Paulo Good Shepherd Swimming Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to André: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
