Andile P. Tshabalala
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- The Sakura Trades Guild
- Since 2006
- English, Afrikaans
I've worked in tiling since 2006. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 780 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.

What gifts mean to Andile: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
