I've spent 30 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Rosewood Institute of Technology in Contagem. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Anderson
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Anderson: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
