Ananya M. Nadar
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Saket, Delhi, India
- Old Phoenix Works
- 2004 to 2015
- English, Malayalam
I've worked in thatching from 2004 to 2015. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 320 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Ananya
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Ananya: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
