Ananya M. Iyer
Bass and flute teacher
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Kingsway Band
- Since 1998
- English, Telugu
I play bass and flute. I started in 1998 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Ananya
I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Ananya: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
