For 18 years I was the economics teacher at Pune High School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ananya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
