Anand T. Das
Youth tennis coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Mangaluru, Karnataka, India
- Mangaluru Youth Club
- Since 1992
- English, Malayalam
I've coached tennis at Mangaluru Youth Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Anand
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Anand: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
