I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Anaïs
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Anaïs: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
