Ana P. Vega
Volunteer mentor with Meadowbank Foundation
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Meadowbank Foundation
- Since 2005
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 820 people through Meadowbank Foundation.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ana
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Ana: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
