Ana B. Acosta
Songwriting player and teacher in San Diego
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Quartet
- Since 1986
- English, Spanish
I play songwriting and singing. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ana
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Ana: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
