Amparo S. Arias
Drums player and teacher in Mexicali
- 🇲🇽 Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico
- Mexicali Queensway Orchestra
- Since 1986
- Spanish
I play drums and bass. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

I still have the recording from that night at Mexicali Queensway Orchestra.
