Amparo K. Quintero
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- The Sunrise Works
- Since 2000
- English, Spanish
My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 2000 in Riverside and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Amparo: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
