Amparo H. Hernández
Folk music player and teacher in Iztapalapa
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Ashford Band
- 2010 to 2023
- Spanish
I play folk music and brass band. I started in 2010 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Amparo: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
