I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1997 at The Oaxaca de Juárez Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at The Oaxaca de Juárez Art Collective, which keeps me honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
