Amol R. Vora

Calligraphy and oil painting artist

  • 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
  • Little Kolkata Gallery
  • 1987 to 2015
  • English
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1987 at Little Kolkata Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I garden badly but happily.

More about Amol

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Amol: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
