Amol H. Kelkar
Traditional drumming player and teacher in New Delhi
- 🇮🇳 New Delhi, Delhi, India
- New Delhi Music School
- Since 1983
- English, Gujarati
I play traditional drumming and tabla. I started in 1983 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Amol
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Amol: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.

I still have the recording from that night at New Delhi Music School. Truly.
