Amol Bhosale
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India
- Old Heritage Trades Guild
- 1997 to 2023
- English, Marathi
I've worked in thatching from 1997 to 2023. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,530 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Amol
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Amol: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
