Amit K. Dhawan
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India
- Tiruchirappalli Shop
- Since 1987
- English, Hindi, French
I've worked in tiling since 1987. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,400 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Amit
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Amit: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
