Amit G. Maurya

Self-taught woodcarving artist

  • 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
  • Bengaluru Print Workshop
  • Since 2003
  • English, Hindi
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2003 at Bengaluru Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I walk the dog by the river.
