I'm a woodcarving artist based in Arlington. I've been making things since 1980 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Amira
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 1992. It's still the first thing I see in the morning Truly.
