Amira Iman Ghanem
English literature and mathematics teacher, Shubra
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- Shubra Public School
- 1986 to 2024
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

What gifts mean to Amira: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
