Amir Ibrahim Said
Ceramics and photography artist
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- The Kilimanjaro Gallery
- 1979 to 2003
- English, Arabic
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1979 at The Kilimanjaro Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Kilimanjaro Gallery, which keeps me honest.
More about Amir
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Amir: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
