For 13 years I ran the boxing program at Las Cruces Redwood Football Club in Las Cruces. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
What gifts mean to Amelia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Iztapalapa.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
