I taught music at Elmwood High School in Los Angeles from 1988 to 2000. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 410 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Amber
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Amber: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me music in 2025 at Elmwood High School. I still remember the rainy sports day.
