Amaya Perera
Art and drama teacher, Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Lotus Middle School
- Since 2012
- English, Sinhala
I teach art at Lotus Middle School in Colombo since 2012. Most days I teach first-year students, and I never raise my voice.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Amaya
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember that terrible school play.
What gifts mean to Amaya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
