Amanuel Berhanu Zewdie
Religious studies and environmental science teacher, Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Riverside Grammar School
- 1982 to 1993
- English, Amharic
I taught religious studies at Riverside Grammar School in Mekelle from 1982 to 1993. Most days I taught primary school children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 610 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Amanuel
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
