Amani Wanjiru Opio

Design and technology and art teacher, Jinja

  • 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
  • Since 1978
  • English, Swahili
Jinja Technical College is my second home. I teach design and technology there since 1978, mostly teenagers. Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Amani: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
