Helping people break into teaching
- 🇺🇬 Fort Portal, Western Region, Uganda
- Redwood Learning Hub
- 2009 to 2021
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 220 people through Redwood Learning Hub.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Amani: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
