I've worked in auto repair since 1978. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 2,110 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Amanda: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

You fixed our roof in 1987 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Salvador.
