Amanda Francisca Tavares
Youth baseball coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil
- 1991 to 2011
- Portuguese
I coached baseball at Curitiba Community Club from 1991 to 2011. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Amanda
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Amanda: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
