Amanda Cristiane Alves

23 years teaching French in Belém

  • 🇧🇷 Belém, Pará, Brazil
  • Belém Secondary School
  • 1990 to 2015
  • Portuguese
I taught French at Belém Secondary School in Belém from 1990 to 2015. Most days I taught Year 9, and I answered every email, even at midnight. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.

More about Amanda

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
