First-generation students mentor, Niterói
- 🇧🇷 Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- St. Mary's Foundation
- 2008 to 2021

For 13 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and small business. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Amanda: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
