Amal Leila Hamdan

Choir director and singer

  • 🇪🇬 Zagazig, Sharqia, Egypt
  • Since 1978
  • English, Arabic
I've played guitar since 1978, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I like to keep things simple and honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Amal

I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Amal: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
