I taught art at Winston-Salem Middle School in Winston-Salem from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Amal
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Amal: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
