Amaka Yetunde Odukoya
Sitar and drums teacher
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Wudil Quartet
- Since 1986
- English
I've played sitar since 1986, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Amaka: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
