Amaka Wunmi Olawale

Rowing and fitness coach, Badagry

  • 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Badagry Youth Club
  • Since 1992
  • English, Yoruba
I've coached rowing at Badagry Youth Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
