Amaka Jumoke Popoola

Painter, potter and teacher at Ikeja Gallery

  • 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Ikeja Gallery
  • 2005 to 2014
  • English, Hausa
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes street art. My first show was in 2005 at Ikeja Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I walk the dog by the river. Thank you for stopping by.
