Amaka Favour Obi
Volunteer mentor with Highland Foundation
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Highland Foundation
- 2006 to 2018
- English, Igbo
For twelve years I've mentored people in trades and law school. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Amaka
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Amaka: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
